While creating illustrations for my own projects, I discovered that my favorite part wasn't simply drawing—it was bringing each illustration to life.

Coloring with alcohol markers, metallic pens, glitter markers, colored pencils, stamps, stencils, and washi tape became the most rewarding part of the creative process.

The problem was finding coloring pages that matched my style and allowed me to develop my skills as a self-taught artist. For me, this was a very specific type of coloring page. Sometimes I found myself buying digital coloring pages and putting them into Photoshop and removing lines or outfit components because I envisioned something different - or, I wanted a long version of a short mini-dress, or I wanted a mermaid-cut gown instead of the ballgown that the coloring page had.

I wanted clean, elegant line art that felt sophisticated. I loved seeing all the cutesy, girly, cartoon and fantasy style coloring pages on Instagram, but it just wasn't my own personal style and taste. I was longing for something a little different. Very elegant, refined line-art - no shading, no grayscale - I wanted to do those things myself! I wanted pages that left room to experiment with color, texture, embellishments, and mixed media rather than overly detailed illustrations that felt restrictive.

So once again, I created what I couldn't find.

That's how Perfect Pages was born.
